Creating something custom should feel simple, here’s how the process works.

Placing a Custom Order

Most items can be personalized directly on the product page by entering your engraving details before adding to cart.

If you would like to use a logo, photo, or custom image, please use the contact page or email your design to orders@etchknox.com‍ ‍before placing your order so it can be reviewed for engraving compatibility.

Image & Logo Requirements

Not all images will engrave well. For best results:

  • Use high-quality images with clear detail and good lighting

  • Photos with strong contrast and defined features work best

  • Avoid screenshots, photos of photos, or images downloaded from social media

In some cases, a different image may be requested to ensure the best final result.

Pricing for Custom Images

Image and logo engravings require additional detail and setup.

  • The orders may be priced differently than standard text engraving

  • You will be provided with next steps and pricing after your image is reviewed.

Proof & Approval

For certain custom orders, a proof will be sent before engraving.

Please review your proof carefully, including:

  • Spelling

  • Dates

  • Placement and layout

Once your order is approved, changes cannot be made.

EtchKnox is not responsible for errors that were submitted or approved by the customer.

Payment & Production

All custom orders must be paid in full before production begins.

Because each item is made specifically for you, personalized items cannot be returned or resold.

Local Orders (Knoxville, TN)

EtchKnox offers engraving on customer-provided alcohol bottles for local Knoxville-area orders.

  • You may provide your own bottle

  • Or request pickup from a local store of a pre-paid bottle (a pickup fee may apply)

EtchKnox does not sell alcohol - only the engraving service is provided.

  • The final result depends heavily on the quality of the image provided
